NUANS (Newly Upgraded Automated Name Search) is a computerized search system that compares a proposed corporate name to a database of existing corporate names. This comparison determines the similarity between the proposed name and existing names in the database that are already registered. If the name proposed has not been taken, the NUANS report will reserve the name, for 90 days, on behalf of the person(s) requesting the report.
A NUANS report is part of your incorporation documents if you wish to be a named corporation. The report must be done and accepted before we can incorporate the business.
